This policy explains what data trylila ("we", "us") collects when you use the website and app, how we use it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

• Account information: When you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address.
• Waitlist email: If you join the waitlist, we store your email address.
• App usage events: We track anonymous interactions (button clicks, feature usage) to understand how the product is used. Task text and category names are not captured by our analytics tools.
• Error reports: We collect technical error information to fix bugs.
• Tasks you enter: Your brain-dump text and generated tasks are stored in your browser's localStorage and, if you are signed in, on our server. They are used to run the app and may be sent to an AI service to break tasks into smaller steps.

How we use your data

• To provide the task-breaking and focus features of the app.
• To improve the product and fix issues.
• To communicate with you about early access, updates, or support.

Third-party services

We use the following services, some of which process data:

• PostHog — product analytics and session replay (with sensitive text masked).
• Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring.
• Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager / Google Ads — website analytics and conversion tracking.
• Ahrefs — website analytics.
• Ollama — AI service used to split tasks into micro-tasks.
• Railway — hosting infrastructure.
• S3-compatible storage — for storing waitlist signups and backups.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.

You may stop using Lila at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at [email protected].
